I have used a propane gas grill for many years and my old 17" round grill has been rebuild several times. Now the new ones no longer use the lava rocks under the grill, but rather they use a burner plate. This seems to be not as good as the old way with the rocks and I see no way of adding rocks to these new grills. Anyone using these new Magma 17" propane grills with no rocks? If so, how well do they grill?
