Ingredients
5 to 6 avacados
1 large tomato
1 large onion
1 Tbs. lemon juice
salt
pepper
garlic powder
tortilla chips

Directions
Peel and mash avocados with a fork. Finely chop tomato and onion. Stir together all ingredients. Season to taste. Chill for 8 hours!

Comments
Easy to make. To stretch this recipe, add cottage cheese.

I agree with Dave that leaving the Avacado Pit in the Guacamole will prevent it from discoloring. Don't know why but it does work.

We crush chopped garlic and mash it up with salt and pepper. Then we add olive oil and after the rest of the ingredients.

We use fresh garlic instead of garlic powder. We also chop up a little pepper, either Thai Dragon or Jalapeno. We thing that leaving the stone from an avocado in the guacamole seems to keep it from browning.
