Number of Servings: 1 Comments: This may sound unlikely, but try it, and chances are you'll be hooked. This is my own invention and happened by accident. Number of Servings: more than 8 Comments: Pisco is a brandy or 'aguardiente' distilled from the white muscat grapes grown in two main regions of South America: the area around Pisco and the Valle del Río Elqui in central Chile. The Elqui Valley is called the "zona pisquera" due to its favorable geographic and climatic conditions and is the only pisco producing area in Chile. This Recipe "evolved" aboard Skip Novak's Pelagic Australis after dropping anchor in the kelp fields NE of Cape Horn after a rough passage across the Drake Passage from Antarctica.
