Whole Wheat Sandwich Oatmeal Bread

Ingredients: Makes 2 full sized loaves In a small bowl, proof yeast 6 tsp of Yeast 1 1/2 tsp sugar 2 1/4 cups water at 115 degrees F stir, dissolve let set 5 minutes while mixing dry ingredients In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients 4 cups bread flour or white flour 2 cups whole wheat flour (keep one cup out for mixing in while kneading 3/4 cup oatmeal 3 Tbls of sugar 2 tsp of salt 4 Tbls of oil 2 Tbls of olive oil....keep oil out until adding in yeast mixture
Directions: 1. Mix and proof yeast for 5 minutes.
2. Mix all dry ingredients and stir well
3. Add yeast / water mix and stir with spoon
4. add oil while stiring
5. Knead in last cup of flour
6. Knead well until blended and dough is not sticky
7. Add flour if need to get a non sticky dough.
8. Remove dough ball, add oil to coat bowl, roll dough ball around to coat, cover and let it rise 45 minutes
9. Note: cover dough with oiled wax paper and place bowl into a plastic bag to help heat while rising
10. After 45 minutes, dough will be doubled, remove from bowl, press lightly and roll into a cylinder, cut in half
11. Roll each half into loaf shapes, and cylinders and place into greases (pam) bread pans 9 x 5
12 Let rise again 45 minutes. Loafs will rise over the tops
13. begin to pre heat over at this 45 min point, allowing oven to heat to 325 F after 10-15 minutes, place loafs into oven
14. Bake for 30 minutes. Turn and roate loafs in over at 15 minuntes to bake evenly.
15. Remove at 30 minutes. Turn out of loaf pans to cool....enjoy
Comments: This is a great recipe and works well for full size loafs in 9 x 5 bread pans.
